TMA ANNUAL AWARDS PROGRAM
Turnaround and Transaction Awards
Thank you for your entries in the Turnaround and Transaction Awards program. The awards program is closed as of the May 5, 2008, entry deadline. Winners will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27-29. Please continue to visit this Web site for details about the launch of the 2009 Turnaround and Transaction of the Year awards.
Chapters of the Year, Outstanding Individual Contribution
Entries for the 2008 Chapter of the Year, Most Improved Chapter of the Year, and Outstanding Individual Contribution Awards will be accepted starting in fall 2008. Please continue to visit this website for details.
TMA also periodically presents Lifetime Achievement Awards and Chairman’s Awards. For details about these awards, including a list of past recipients, please click here.
BUTLER-COOLEY EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS
The Butler-Cooley Excellence in Teaching Awards Program honors teachers who have changed the outcome of students’ lives and the communities in which they live. The 2008 entry deadline was May 1, 2008. Winners will be announced in late summer. Winners will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27-29.

THE TURNAROUND, RESTRUCTURING AND DISTRESSED INVESTING INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME
The Turnaround, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Industry Hall of Fame was established in TMA’s 20th Anniversary year to honor and preserve the names of those whose outstanding individual contributions have increased the stature and respect of the industry. The inaugural Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27 - 29.

CARL MARKS STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION
The Carl Marks Student Paper Competition recognizes outstanding student achievement in the corporate renewal field. The entry deadline was May 30, 2008. Prize recipients will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention.
